Rejoice! We are less than a week away from the Premier League! Plenty of USMNT players have made their way into the best league in the world, so let’s take a look at what to watch for from a USMNT standpoint in the EPL this season.
USMNT in the Premier League in 2022-23: What to watch for
Jesse Marsch got his first taste of Premier League action last season in a relegation fight. He fought hard and kept Leeds up. This summer he’s brought in two young American studs in Brenden Aaronson and Tyler Adams. I know it’s just preseason, but Aaronson has already been dropping dimes like this:

If USMNT fans are looking for a team to follow, Leeds seems to be the way to go.
Crystal Palace signed Chris Richards, who had been brought up by FC Dallas and Bayern Munich. This is a massive move for Chris, especially in a World Cup year. Palace have a lot of good youth, especially in defense, but Richards can certainly get his fair share of playing time.
Antonee Robinson and Tim Ream are back in the Premier League with Fulham. Fulham finished atop the Championship last season with 90 points, and are back in the Premier League for the 3rd time in five years. Having gone back and forth since 2018, Robinson will be playing at the highest level possible in a World Cup Year. Big win for him and the USMNT.
Potential USMNT starting goalkeeper Matt Turner nabbed a move to Arsenal. He will most likely be backing up Aaron Ramsdale for most of the season, but will get his chance to take the spot as the starter in most of the Cup games, and possibly the Europa League.
Christian Pulisic was linked with a lot of big clubs this summer, but it seems as though he is staying put in Chelsea, unless a late summer move is pulled. Plenty of players to watch out for in the Premier League for the USMNT. It should be a very exciting season!
